Sarah Mael: Founder of Reading Wranglers

Sarah Mael, the founder of Reading Wranglers, has over 20 years of experience in education. She has exclusively taught students with learning differences in the role of learning specialist, behavior therapist, and reading
interventionist.

After working for several years at one of the United States' top independent schools for students with language disorders like dyslexia, she looks forward to creating an engaging, specialized online learning experience.

Two years ago, Sarah became certified to teach the
Orton-Gillingham approach for small group classroom settings. Orton-Gillingham has been a welcome addition to her toolbox of other curriculums, including Seeing Stars and Visualizing and Verbalizing.

Throughout her substantial career, Sarah has utilized her experience as a behavior therapist. She applies techniques aligned with intervention programs
like Relationship Development Intervention and Applied Behavior Analysis in all types of settings. Fostering a safe, engaging, and challenging learning environment helps her facilitate the learning of the neurodivergent student.

Sarah understands that every student learns differently.

In addition to teaching, Sarah enjoys a career as an artist and illustrator. Her creativity comes in handy in her work as an artist and educator.  Sarah looks forward to facilitating the cognitive growth of all learners,
including those with

ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism, and Oppositional Defiant
Disorder.
